If the barrel on your Crosman 357 air pistol won’t stay closed, the existing rubber spring for the latch is likely worn or deteriorated from old age. This kit should fix the issue and help to get your favorite airgun running again. An extra rubber spring is included so you can replace it in the future if needed. This listing includes: (1) Barrel Latch (2) Rubber Latch Springs (1) Barrel Housing Plate Compatible with the following models: Crosman 357 (old style with brown grips) Crosman 3576W Crosman Vigilante Crosman CR357 Crosman Triple Threat Installation Instructions: 1. Ensure your airgun is unloaded, and that there is no co2 cartridge installed. 2. Unclip the left hand grip pannel, then remove the two screws for the side cover plate and one for the barrel. Lift up the side cover being careful not to let the other internal parts fall out. 3. Remove the old rubber latch spring, then install the one with the “ramp shaped” side facing downward and toward the metal latch. Push the rubber spring down into place. 4. Reinstall the side cover plate, barrel, and left hand grip pannel that were removed in step two. 5. Test the barrel latch by gently pushing down on it and close the barrel. Let go of the latch and ensure the barrel stays closed and does not fall down while holding the pistol upright.
